"Love doesn't make the world go round; love is what makes the ride worthwhile." -Elizabeth Browning
I wanted to take a post, or three, to share with you all a few special weddings that I photographed in a three week span, back to back in the spring season. Each one was special in its own way. Each wedding in a different location. All of them unforgettable.
The first of them features the newest Mr. and Mrs. Benoit...
Bret and Rebecca celebrated the day with family and close friends at a friend's ranch home in the Livermore hills near Lake Del Valle. She wore a gown touched with lace and walked down the aisle in her cowgirl boots. The groomsmen had bullet shell boutonnieres and also sported boots.
It was a beautiful day, just a day before the end of April. Perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony and a reception under the tent.
There was a catered BBQ style buffet, plenty of appetizers and cold drinks, and lots of laughs.
Rebecca and her family have been friends of my husband's for years. It was great to see these two finally tie the knot! You know it's going to be a great wedding when the bide and her groom leave the nerves at home and just enjoy their time with the wedding party, ready to be married. I loved the rustic, but classy touches used in the decorations. Lace, burlap, vintage wood, and a touch of metals. And purple!
And their happily ever after continues...
